At Golden Sugar Bakery, we take great pride in delivering the freshest and most delectable cakes right to your doorstep. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, please take a moment to review our shipping and policy information.
Shelf-Life and Storage:
Our Cake Stacks are meticulously crafted with a minimum shelf-life of 8 days from the date of shipping, without the immediate need for refrigeration. They are lovingly made with shelf-stable ingredients, guaranteeing their freshness during transit. For extended storage, feel free to refrigerate them for up to 30 days or freeze them for up to 6 months.
You'll find that some of our cakes are adorned with luscious buttercream toppings. Please be aware that during transit, these may experience varying degrees of melting. It's important to note that this is a common occurrence and, rest assured, it in no way compromises the cake's freshness.
To keep expenses reasonable, we ship our cakes via USPS Express without the use of dry ice. In case of any damages incurred during transit due to mishandling or rough treatment, kindly address the issue directly with USPS. For filing a claim, please call 1-800-275-8777.
PLEASE CONTACT USPS IF YOUR PACKAGE HAS NOT ARRIVED WITHIN 5 DAYS AFTER YOUR ORDER HAS SHIPPED…
No PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers:
We kindly request that you refrain from having your cake delivered to a PO Box or parcel locker. Such locations may lead to your cake settling on one side of the tin.
Please note that shipping dates are provided as estimates and are not set in stone. Our usual production time ranges from 7 to 10 business days, although this may vary depending on product demand. This time frame does not encompass the shipping duration itself. Items are shipped via USPS Express and typically arrive in 1 - 3 business days following shipment, though this delivery window is not guaranteed. Should you have questions regarding delivery, please contact USPS at 1-800-275-8777 with you tracking number. Golden Sugar Bakery will not track order for you once your tracking number has been sent to your email.
We regret that we cannot assume responsibility for any delays or failed deliveries resulting from inaccurate or incomplete addresses. We kindly ask that you verify and provide the correct zip code, apartment number, street number, and street type (e.g., Blvd., Rd., Ave., etc.). Please note that making manual address corrections may incur an additional surcharge.
Signature Not Required:
For your convenience, we instruct the shipping carrier not to require a signature upon delivery to prevent potential delays. We recommend tracking your package once the tracking information is provided and making suitable arrangements for its safe retrieval.We are not responsible if your cake is attacked by ants, bears, raccoons, mongooses, or other wild animals.
Weather and Other Circumstances:
We wish to inform you that we cannot accept responsibility for cakes that are undeliverable or delayed due to factors beyond our control, including adverse weather conditions, holidays, or other unforeseen circumstances.
We believe in transparency. It's important to note that all of our baked goods may contain or come into contact with ingredients such as almond extract, peanuts, tree nuts, strawberries, dairy, milk products, eggs, wheat, chocolate, gluten, and other allergens. If you have known food allergies, we strongly recommend refraining from consuming our products.
To maintain the exceptional quality of your cake, we recommend refrigerating it and consuming it within 7 days of receipt. Refrigeration is highly recommended. If you opt not to refrigerate, we advise enjoying your cake within 2 days of receipt. Our cakes are at their best when served at room temperature. They contain no preservatives or unusual ingredients and are crafted with butter. Therefore, we suggest allowing them to reach room temperature to achieve a soft and fluffy texture before indulging.
Should you wish to keep your cake unopened or tightly sealed, rest assured that it will remain fresh in refrigeration for up to 1 month or in the freezer for up to 6 months.
